As I look on at you
Your eyes closed, expressing a slight frown
I feel your pain
I feel your struggle
Your voice laced with frustration
That nobody but you and I can hear
You say you’re fine
Your vibe says otherwise
The dread that fills you
Fills me too
Why do I feel so much of what you feel?
I have no clue
