Lost friend
It's such a crazy act,
we all wish wasn't a thing.
Most people wouldn't believe that it would happen.
Especially to someone that you can call a good friend.
To people who go through this, they think life is a black,
bottomless pit.
¨Wow, something must of been wrong?¨
Why must they feel this way?
Do they hate themselves that much?
Well, she didn't even think it was a such problem,
when she was little.
So here’s a story about a little girl and her friend.
It was her first day of 5th grade and she made a new friend
also not knowing when high school started,
she would never see him again.
They were good friends in middle school too
but when high school started she got bad news.
A text message appeared on her phone of something that made her feel so alone.
¨Do you remember Dj from middle school?¨
What she heard back from that was something she would never want to hear.
That he committed suicide,
because he wanted to disappear.
Tears rolled down her face.
She fell to the floor.
she would of never thought this would happen.
As she stood up and decided to be strong,
she got a phone call saying that he was gone.
The phone call was from the school board saying the memorial date.
Before she could say anything,
her parents came through the door,
hugging her oh so tightly,
what a terrible fate.
A week later she went to the memorial with her dad,
knowing that nobody was going to be glad.
As they said goodbye to her lost friend,
she hugged her father tightly
¨I hope this never happens again.¨
As he took his last breath and said goodbye.
He left a note for his mother to find, like a dark goodbye.
We all couldn't help but think, “Why?”
But he thought that life wasn't good enough whatsoever.
Now September 30, 2014 will be a date that she remembers forever.
