I am a citizen of the world, an a student of the universe.

Crumble at forgivness,

mumble every word.

The sound of life was heard.

Flew like a bird.

Sight blurred, dream differed.

Do I fall?

Bleed the same.

Linger threw the rain.

Nothing to gain.

Life, such a strain.

A bleached brain.

A leveled plain.

Do I fall?

Drift, shift the tides.

Worlds collide,forgotten pride.

Stand at my side.

Do I fall?

I really like this! It's short but powerful. I am a big fan of using the image of birds into my own pieces but those two beggining lines made me so jealous ( in a good way) that I didn't think of them first :D " Crumble" and "mumble" so clever! I have fallen in love with your poem and you should be so so proud!!! :) well done. This is my favourite poem I have read for a long time :)
