Who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this?
-Esther 4:14

With red hair and teal eyes,
Ariel was far from a plain Jane.
However, she was not blind.
Meaning she could see that she was not Mary Jane.
Which explained
Why Spider-Man never came to save
her from the abyss
of thoughts only describing her insignificance.

She looks at the islands of people,
with smiles that seem engraved on their faces,
and can’t help but feel as if the load is more than unequal.
Staring at her own face,
through the reflection of thing-a-ma-bobs,
she can’t see where grace is.

And she thinks that maybe meds
could be her legs
to become a part of their world.
Poor girl,
who just wants to be like everybody else,
Instead of locked up inside herself.

Her tears are sown onto her cheeks.
People ask her why
she continues to cry
but the abyss took away her speech.

It sees her frown
and decides to kick her while she’s down;
but she refuses to bow
to the darkness now.

She doesn’t know how,
yet somehow,
God is pushing Ariel up to the surface.
A better place where poor girls don’t drown.

It wasn’t a fast ride.
However getting past the tide,
to this high
was more then worth it.

She never felt this Happily,
Ever.

Then After came,
bringing forth the same
girl who
cried
self-hating in her mind.

She screamed and asked God:
“Why?!”

And then,
God said:
“You may regret,
you ever met
this girl and I
know why.
But I let her say hi,
Ariel,
So you could kiss the girl goodbye.”
