If Only You Could See
I can see how the world could be,
If everyone just disappeared
as if they were all dead
like everyone once feared
There is silence all around from where i am to be
except for the birds in the sky chirping
as if they were singing to me
The smell of nature surrounds every object
in its way like a mother would
the scent of green leaves and fresh flowers
is the smell thats always misunderstood
As the palm of my hand lays against the concrete
thats grey and cold
i can feel the small rocks
for which are always uncontrolled
A soft chewy sensation
filled with raspberry sorbetbits of flavor
for i will alwayswant to savor
I imagine a world of peace and happiness
which will never be
for now there is sadness and tragedy.
