What makes a friend?
Is it saying we will last forever or I’ll hold you to the end?
Or is it holding someone while they cry?

I had a lot of friends until I got pulled into the garden.
Then I got bit by a friend.
I got bitten by snakes left and right.
Now I know why friend has an end.

Friendships are like light bulbs, they can last for a while and be super bright,
But eventually they all die out.

But in the end I found out the answered
Change is natural
People will change opinions and have new friends
The old ones will be thrown away like a pair of old shoes

Old friendships are like an unfinished song
A song which started and ended too quickly
That unsung song is haunting
It’ll eat you alive
