Brown blazing eyes burning like the sun
Lips as red as roses
A smile bigger than the sky
Hands gentle, calming, soft
Golden heart, golden mind

Pushing me on the swing
Bringing me to the race track
Calling me baby and watching me grow
Listening to my stories when they made no sense
Trusting me even when you knew we were going the wrong way
Unique heart, perfect mind

Losing you and watching you take your last breath
Watching the line go dead
Watching your life fade
Closing your eyes
Saying goodbye

Hearing your voice and remembering your smile
Looking at yourself from the past and remembering the brighter future
Hearing you from above and remembering everything you did for me
