Sunlight refracts through the sapphires of your eyes

Singing like water through crystal veins

Beneath your skin

The elephants in my gut celebrate

The nearness of our fingertips or

The curves or your lips as

Your song enraptures me

And captures my heart like the dreamy devil

You aspire to be

If only you weren't so good at it

And if only I could know what has changed

Because it's gotten to the point where I

Can't tell if that soft look in your eyes is affection

Or pity

And if your embrace is gentle becuse that's your nature

Or you don't like the close proximity

To me

To the raw truth of this feeling

And every emotion exploding out is like a

Firework show gone wrong

There is no poem or song

That can truly express how I feel

About you

All I want is you

And all you want

Is her
