Exploding
Sunlight refracts through the sapphires of your eyes
Singing like water through crystal veins
Beneath your skin
The elephants in my gut celebrate
The nearness of our fingertips or
The curves or your lips as
Your song enraptures me
And captures my heart like the dreamy devil
You aspire to be
If only you weren't so good at it
And if only I could know what has changed
Because it's gotten to the point where I
Can't tell if that soft look in your eyes is affection
Or pity
And if your embrace is gentle becuse that's your nature
Or you don't like the close proximity
To me
To the raw truth of this feeling
And every emotion exploding out is like a
Firework show gone wrong
There is no poem or song
That can truly express how I feel
About you
All I want is you
And all you want
Is her
