Caged Animal
"Sometimes
I think a lot when I'm alone
all alone, as in just me
Usually sitting in my room
or laying down on my bed
I think about how I fit in
with society's order
What life has to give to me
and what I have to offer in return
Not much
I always think
Sometimes
I feel upset, distant
alone and confused
Other times happy, hopeful
confident and eager
But mostly I feel trapped
like a caged animal
Needing freedom
wanting to be released
I'm getting away from all of this
and leaving on a high note"
He leaves the note on his desk.
"This isn't a suicide letter, I promise,
I just need an everlasting break..."
