Disconnected
You're disconnected from me
Leaving me empty
We were the best
And I hoping this is just a test
I miss what we had
I want it all back
But for now we're disconnected
Attached at the hip is what everyone said we were
What made you wanna leave and let go of us
Maybe I'm overreacting to this chapter in my life
But before you I didn't even realize what it was to not cry
Our times were filled with fun and laughter
It was oh so bright
But the air is too quiet without you tonight
I'm looking at the stars and I know you see them too
Rereading our story realizing that its all true
My love for you is greater than any
For you to come back, I'd pay however many pennies
Its been days now I see
You haven't even attempted to talk to me
You say sorry and everything else
But You hit me really far below the belt
I see you with her all the time now
I didn't even mention how I knew it would turn out
She moved on now and you're sad
Oops I'm sorry that's too bad
You did the same to me but there's a difference
I didn't move on not even for a minute
I'm fine now I let you go
Now you're just a disconnected soul
