The Shadow

The shadow lurks from far away, I ignore it.
The shadow moves towards me, I don't see it.
The shadow moves around me, I freak it.
The shadow shuffles, I don't hear it.
I don't know the shadow, it doesn't move close.
Who are you: the shadow or the ignoramus?
Do you think of me as the person or the shadow?
Then why do you ignore me?
