The one less known
I’m a nothing in your eyes, the withering softback that no one chooses when they have the choice of the crisp hardback book. Just another average girl walking around your school, the one you make fun of for walking alone with her head down not wanting to be noticed. The one who sprints by you and is gone in a blink of an eye. One that no one notices until they want to copy your math homework. But that’s not who I am. I’m the girl who looks for the best in every one. I’m the quiet summer night outside the party you’re at. I’m a dreamer who dreams of a better tomorrow. I’m the girl who doesn’t care to be remembered. The girl who is gone and as quiet as the soft breeze in the night.
