This Is Love
Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
I wrote this poem,
Especially for you.
But you’ll never see it,
And of that I’m sure.
For I can’t show it.
Never.
No. No.
You have a boyfriend,
And I’m just the best friend.
I’ll sit her writing,
Poems all day.
About how I love you,
But it I cannot say.
You are cute with your boyfriend,
But would be cuter with me.
I’ll treat you like a princess.
No. Like a queen.
You are my world.
Because of you I survive.
It’s you I think about.
All day,
And all night.
I want to be together,
But don’t want to ruin your life.
For you are happy with your boyfriend,
Being not my wife.
