Dreams are as fragile
As spun glass, at first.
You start out with
A small layer,
Barely strong enough
To hold its own weight.
You slowly temper
It in the flames
Of determination,
And the cold steel
Of perseverance.
Carefully, you add
Layers of strength
And hope.
You let it go, yet
Clutch it tight at the
Same time.
Dreams are as fragile
As spun glass,
And as strong
As tempered steel.
