What He Could See
The blind man spoke to all
He told the trees what fruit to bear
He told the birds where to seek warmth
He told the sun when to rise
Yet, his neighbors ignored him
His companions deceived him
His Shepherd let him wander
All the people wondered
how the old blind man could smile
His Nature was a mystery to all that only
the birds
the trees
and the sun understood
Agony, ecstasy, peace all have a meaning in their passing
Only to dwell on the minds of priests, monks, and imams
on the backs of soldiers
and in the hearts of men and women
We are UNITED in our differences the blind man taught
We all laugh and cry
We all live and die
The blind man is like Moishe The Beadle --dedicated to God’s will
He never seemed to anger
His countenance remained serene
In essence, he could see what we all had failed to see
We cause factions and divisions
with hateful words and deceit
these are the attributes we need to defeat
Collectivism that floods the world
and pursues the concept of superiority
