Because the View is a Little Nicer

Only a few fly up to the Clouds
just because the view is a little nicer.
While others fall down to the Pit
just because their ignorance was bliss.
But they both remain muted and blind
as the watch is ripped right off their wrists.
One flies with doves to spend more time with his savior;
The other digs caves with the moles and caves in
It won't be long now
as both are baptized in flames
Anger fills up their fists;
Yet another crossed right off the list
The ring of the gates closing
