Losing A Loved One

“He didn’t make it”
As I listened to those words,
I broke down, hoping they weren’t true.
But then my mom approached me & said
“You don’t have to go to school.”
I sat there sobbing & watching TV (the news and incident with my cousin).
As I’m watching I couldn’t believe who I seen…
