Take No More
Touched by their unwanted lies in unwanted places
My life's been moving in slow paces
Stuck on red while we move
Right here beneath my feet
I've been young, I've been wise, I've been looked at
And the fire burns in my eyes
My brain left to die, my body left to rot
'Here lies your touch, your clutch.'
Written on me, burn it with a torch
Taken aback with every step
Wanting, but never wanted
Flaunt yourself around like a miracle
Running insane; caught in your chains
I've smiled fairly little
Too darn brittle
Make no mistakes, things like these are fragile
Take no more, my life's unraveled
