Dreams
What are dreams I always wondered
Are they stories of long forgotten
An alternate future from an alternate world
A message, a meaning, a forbidden song
A secret past, a life that never happened
An idea, an invention, or some strange contraption
A theory, a fantasy, or what could of happened
A stimilution or a simulation for a mind
A love, a hate, a fear, a time
I do not know and I fear I never will
But dreams are a hope that is to hold and keep
And dreams are one of the many reasons to live
And dreams are what made the world as we know it today
We all dream though we may dream differently
But that is what makes it so beautiful
We all have something so similar yet so different
And it makes me lay awake at night thinking
Dreams....... what are dreams I wonder
Yeah seriously what exactly are dreams?..... I mean not what you dream to acheive or to be ,but actual dreams you have when you sleep or when you are day dreaming. I was in a really thoughtful mood when I wrote this ,so I hope you enjoy my first....... I guess masterpeice aka poem. Just so you know I am not just going to write poems I also plan on writing short stories, songs and hopefully, eventually a novel.
