one glass or two?
Clusters of miasma devolved around me
They greeted my corroding lung.
While the air I breathe
Was clear and pure of me.
The earth spoke to me in tongues.
I could hear it speak clearly.
Hollow in in friendship
Shivering quite.
Friend for miles on end
And there voices embrace me.
How could I ever hope to deny it?
I could accept it with open arms.
The path alone has no words spoken.
The road traveled together is filled with laughter.
The steps I chose have broken
But at least I was given a choice
In that moment our lives split in too.
My glass half empty
My glass half full.
