I am who I am
April 30, 2015
I am the laughter that hides my sadness
And the compliments I give to my friends
So I can feel good about myself
Even just for a bit.
I am my parents jewel
And the pain biting my heart
When my sister is sad.
I am the anxiety which arrives
After an early sunrise
That is not often welcomed.
I am everything I wish I was
And oceans I wish I could swim
If only I had the guts
To become a better me.
