Summer
I cannot wait until summer,
Three months of getting dumber.
From nine to four my life is school,
Where the teachers and principals are the ones who rule.
In the summer, it can be hot,
A swimming pool hits the spot.
If we’re lucky, we’ll take a trip.
Maybe a cruise on a ship!
A trip to Florida can be fun,
With cool water and lots of sun.
Hanging with friends it’s fine by me,
Laughing and drinking ice cold sweet tea.
