I Long for the Sea
I wake to the view that shall never get old.
The sun peaks across the surface, warming the sky to a orange and pink tent.
The simple waves come creeping in.
You take a deep breathe as if the world is okay, as if nothing could ever go wrong.
Barefoot with sand crinkled up in my toes and wisps of wind in my hair.
My heart is happy here where the seagulls freely soar in the freshness of life.
The sea, oh the sea, dark and mysterious like the night sky and shimmering like he bright stars.
Oh whoever would not cherish this moment, this glimpse of pure life.
Nestled close to natures heart, I long for the sea.
