Impressions
Living in a world full of blank expressions
People judging to quickly with first impressions
Being held down by a weight that is in fact not even intended
By society of course but is it trying to be mended?
Society wants to make everyone equal
When can they do that when there is 7 billion people?
All with prejudge mental views
Thinking boys should work with cars and girls should wear tootoos
Not understanding or giving empathy to those individuals
Who want to be unique, extraordinary originals
How can they succeed with this goal of theirs
Trying to reach the goal up a flight of never ending stairs
Society is getting tougher and tougher you know
Teens don’t want to be judged anymore and that they can really show
They need the freewill to express their personalities
Without inconsiderate, pointless brutalities
Be a little nice to each other, is that too much to ask?
Stopping making teens hid behind a mask
Let them shine and leave them be
Let me shine and let me be me.
