She Lost
The hope in her heart
The dreams in her eyes
The struggle she was all set for
The battle ready to fight
With utmost passion and courage
She stepped down in the battle field
And even the stars in the sky
Couldn't compete with her shine
This was the moment she longed for
This was the chance she ever wanted
The clock stopped tickling putting a hault to the time
But she dropped down to her knees
Her body racking with silent sobs
Alas the scenery ahead vanishing in a flight.
