As a flower grows
Another flower dies
And as somebody fails
Another person try’s
These consequential lies
Pathological liars in disguise
One with mythological wings tried reaching high
Funny how he didn't fly

Life’s up and downs reverse so I guess down is up
It will change again hoping never to get stuck

Yet as the seasons change
People stay the same
If being plain is now the game
Then I don’t want to win the cup

But as we grow up
See the world so revolting makes me want to throw up
Words like a bomb, hit the page and they blow up
