Give me life
I see you and I want to touch you, I need the contact – even it is just your pinky, a hair on your head; even if it is the smallest bit of contact: I need it, I crave it, I starve for it, I slowly die without it
I want to hug you and never let go because being attached to you, everything about me functions; every part of my being does exactly what it was designed to do
I want to kiss you and never come up for air – because you’re the oxygen I need and every moment without doing so, I suffocate
Maybe I don’t want you because it’s love I have for you; maybe I want you because it’s love for myself, for my own survival – because I want to live, and without you I’m dead on the inside: a hollow shell, an empty dark cave, a mechanical being that you fill up, that you lighten up, that you give life to
Feed my appetite, fill my lungs:
Give life to me
