Life is a pattern
Plastered on an
Ever changing fabric.
Sometimes the pattern
Is pleasing
With bright colors
And intricate designs.
The fabric that belongs
With it is
Smoother than silk.
But if anything
Is given time,
It will change.
The pattern changes
Into ugly shapes
And boring colors
That you never
Want to face,
But you know
You have to
If you ever want to get back
To the good part
Of the pattern that is life.
