My Neighborhood
With the sirens luring me to sleep
And the helicopter looking for someone
I quickly lock the doors
The next morning, the sirens were for a man who overdosed
And the helicopters were looking for a man who escaped
He hasn't been found
I go to my high school musical of a school
The classes with every type of art imaginable past by quickly
Finally my mom has come to get me
She almost runs someone over... again
The streets honk their horns then go back to their maddness
My neighborhood has made me...
Extremely Cautious
As Tough as Diamonds

In a writing program I go to, WrtieGirl, they told us to write about our neighborhoods and so this is what happened.
