How can we call History history
when it’s constantly renewing itself?
A repetition of mistakes echoing through the ages –
reduced to black scribbles on our text book pages.
It’s a lesson without being a lesson;
proof that we are indeed creatures of habit.
Our primitive nature shown through red –
Our need to kill
Our need to conquer
Our need to repeat
Our need to kill
Our need to conquer
Generating generations of creatures of habit.
