sun-kissed

and so it begins...
kissed in colorful
sunset
hands crack
through the
surface
and spoon
the last glaring
look from the
sun
spilling stars in the
process
balancing
a golden orb
of light
a single eye
sent to watch
over us
warping the
skys coloring
into the dark
blue hues
of night
dazzling
cold ice
the sunset ends
and
the
night
begins
