When the sky is dark
and the crickets are chirping
Where will you go?
There are no city lights
The dark goes on for miles
The only light is the light of your eyes
leading me to where I need to go
We are chasing the stars
but it won't last.
What they don't understand is
for who we are this is magic.
But behind the closed doors that are their hearts,
they will never see this work of art.
The art of darkness.
