Story of my life

Searching for a light,

But darkness is overcoming me.

Sorrow in my eyes

pain in my goodbyes

misery really loves company.

There's more to me.

I present to you

only what you can see.

The reason my life is screwed.

Darkness rolling in

cuz I'm in placement again

to my family I just can't be true.

This is the story of my

unsacrificial life

then over and over again

I've tried

To tell em' I am happy

in another life.

I can see them crying

I feel a burden on me

as I'm crying myself to

sleep

like I'm not expecting myself

to feel pain.

I tell myself it won't

be long

just think of it as help.

A lie I keep telling myself.

Cause we all know

how this story unfolds.

No fairy tale cliche at the end.
