Portrait
Illustrating my soul is in color of all shades
Each color resembling my emotions from happiness to pain
Hues of my existence all depict how I was made
My being, like an abstract painting in absence of a frame
From the beginning, my story was a vivacious yellow
By saturating my canvas in your colors of light
Blinded by the heaven’s complexion, I caved in at hello
Beside you, the sun was no longer lustrous or bright
The chroma of our affair cleepened a red so quaint
Passion became my obsession, ivy green envy became my ache
A blank new beginning, soaked in our storm of paint
Our distorted colors, like a tsunami, was all we could ever make
With all of my illustrations with color of all shades
The portraits chaos, dark colors fade
