My Friend
So you went to your peaceful place
And you sat under the rising sun
In silence you began to think
In the water your reflections you saw
You sit as your thoughts began to sink in
When his face came to your mind, Your Friend
You feel like you are going to submerge
Until the thought of him changed your mood
As his arms wrap you up in his embrace
You feel like you can take on the universe’s rude remarks
Dark thoughts that clutter you is replaced
Evil Ones inside you are now gone
So what are you made of? The intimidation?
You are made from him and his goodness.
