Pleasant to the ears and soul
It’s the only way to maintain self-control
Spanning cultures and decades
Even before the crusades
The drummer does a drum roll
And uses great motor control
It comes in all types of sounds
It is meant to astound
The sounds of rock n roll
Can be used for crowd control
Rap stars with their ladies
Just bought them a new Mercedes
The jazz band plays as a whole
They play with their heart and soul
Music is bound to make the world go around
