Winter Morning
  I breathe in deeply,
  Inhaling the stinging, cold breeze.
  My nose burns,
And whatever skin was left exposed numbs,
  Through layers of heavy jackets.
I fight for a single breath
  From beneath
  The thick cocoons.
No longer can I relax and read
  Under the maple now barren.
  At my touch snow melts
  I make snow angels
  On the un-trodden ground,
  Beneath falling frozen flakes
  Softly landing in my hair.
Then I know it is truly winter,
  Once again.

This is the second poem in the "Morning" series that I did. Also, this isn't my best so please don't be too critical! Just kidding. I love comments on my work.
