If a basketball could talk

"Stop it! this really hurts!"
Is what a basketball would say when you dribble it.
The orangey glow would trun red every time you bounce it.
As if it were mad at you.
The harsh vocabulary it would say every time it saw you.
Getting banged up every time it gets put into the basket.
How it aches inside wishing it were never a basketball.
