It’s funny how fast novelty can wear off
It’s funny how fast inspiration can fly away
It’s funny how fast inspiration races back
It’s funny how I’m tired from doing nothing all day.

It’s funny how quickly I can think my work is trash
It’s funny how the next moment I’ll whip right back
It’s funny how my moods are like a storm
It’s funny how that’s just considered the norm

Life’s funny and it loves its irony
You tell yourself to stay calm but then you start to worry

It’s funny how quickly I’ll think myself of gold
It’s funny how the next moment I’ll think myself of mold.

All I know is life is strange, its own original flavor
But the funny things in life are the ones I want to savor.

This was a quick five minute poem. I think it turned out pretty good.

Leave nothing but footprints,
Take nothing but pictures,
Kill nothing but time.

You think right- it did turn out good; I like its own rhythm that anaphora brings into it!
