The Small Smile
I saw her across the street
through her window
She sits on her bed
Waiting for it all to end
Kids would tease her
And call her names
It really hurt her
But to those kids
It was just a game
She saw me looking
I gave a small smile
It gave her happiness
To last as long as a mile
Every day
I looked through my window
Gave her that same small smile
I did it again today
With the perfect view
You do the same small smile back to me
And we both say "I do"
