My Untamable Being
There’s a moonlit spot where I always stop and stare.
I stare up up at the stars I’ve never been a part of.
My body wrapped in starlight, Orion making a pattern upon the dress covering my form.
I stand in a city filled with people who could be part of my story.
I dip and turn toward the earth
Raising my arms,
I praise the place I call home.
Refreshed and soaking in my own revelations, I walk on…. relaxed.
True. Whole.
