The Missing Piece

It’s gone
I can’t find it
no where to be seen
not even a clue
it was a big part of my life
now it’s gone
where did it go?
it was just here
I thought it’d never leave
always stand by my side
but it’s gone and now referred to as
the missing piece
it must be found
I can’t live without it
people say i should just let it go
pretend like I never had it
how can I?
it’s been there since… well forever
and now its gone.
So if the missing piece is reading this right now,
please speak
for I am in dire need to see your face.
