Life Goes On

“I’ve loved you forever,
tell me you love me too…”
These timid words she whispered to him
“I’m sorry I don’t feel the same”
Right then she could feel
her heart cracked and crumbled inside but
she just smiled and nodded
when she went home she finally let the pain
in and tears consume her, left her gasping desperately
air, it seemed, couldn’t find it’s way to her lungs
you feel like you wanna die
just stay home and cry and cry
it don’t feel like it now but,
the pain will subside and life will go on
