You and mee - we both are aghast

Our faces are submerged in silent shock

Blood, gore and violence like arms spread out

Embrace the world in a cruel hug

A rib-breaking, breath-killing, terrible hug

Voices are marred here and War cries for blood

A silent scream cuts through the black void

Its silent hum washes upto my bones

Crossing barriers of skin, flesh and blood

Like Death having a lethal, radiating pulse.

Lights flicker out and die - like the put out flames

Of both the Hearth and the mind

Devoid of Hope, Love and Care - people tread

This dreary path of a dead world

And I know that path is rutted with thorns

The scream is slowly dying out too 

Like little snuffed-out sparks of Hope

For they all ts pointless to wail

Words hold, but little meaning in this sadness

And actions are but horribly restricted.............
