Elephants

My head feels as if I have elephants running around
On the inside
Stomping, running, and galloping
My head is pulsating and throbs I feel
As if the elephants inside multiply
By each and every second
I can feel my head pound
And the bright of day makes the elephants
Angry and they pick up their pace
forcing my eyes to close
I’m tired and I am
Exhausted but
The elephants never allow me to get
Any rest
I have become use to these elephants
But I wouldn’t mind some rest.
