Peter Pan
He looks like the fresh bark and leaves from an Oak tree.
He smells like the fresh spring water,
flowing down the stream.
He feels like the soft dirt,
that covers the rocky ground.
He sounds like the nearby humming birds,
singing their calming song to their lovers.
He tastes like the salty walnuts,
fresh and nature’s gift to us.
He seeks adventure and sweats
with his young lost boys.
And he goes by the classic name,
Peter Pan.

The Peter Pan fairytales influenced me to write this poem at the top of my head. This was an assignment for school and my teachers recommended I should submit my poem to contests.
