“Watching
Silently, on a frozen winter’s night
Crawling
Slowly, as to not wake you
Down, down, down
Into your house he goes
Stalking across the room not making a sound
Boxes spill out of the bag slung over his shoulder
He shoots across the room, up and out onto the roof
Onto the next house
Merry Christmas”
