My heart, broken in two all because of you

You walk away from me, why do you leave?

I cry and cry, my heart is torn apart

My mind longs for you, my broken pieces, too

The rain falls down, masking salty tears

I walk alone, nowhere to go from here

You're gone, my color has faded

It's black again, you were my golden light

You shine brightly, like the sun in my eyes

The lights dances on your skin like diamonds

You're my shining hue of glistening gold

You're the brightest light I've ever known

Please do not take that away, I need you
