Mother Nature
Mother Nature
Goddess of Earth
Oh, how I love your green grass
Your clear water
Your lovely flowers
You are a provider
To the animals that call you home

Mother Nature
Mother Nature
Your beauty is endless
From the animals in the sea
To the animals on the ground
They inhabit you
No matter what happens, you forgive

Mother Nature
Mother Nature
Your storms serve justice
And lightning dishes out faith
If we let you do what you do best
There would be no need to fret
Mother Nature
Mother Nature
As humans, we intrude
We damage the gift you gave us
And for that, we are truly sorry
You deserve respect

Mother Nature
Mother Nature
Some of us may destroy
While others may protect
But just know that whatever happens
No matter it be a new man-made dam
That stops your veins we call rivers
To all the genetically modified foods
That change your original gift of life
Everyone is sorry

Mother Nature
Mother Nature
It may take a special key
To open the lock to someone’s
Inner naturalist
But we all are in awe of your work

Mother Nature
Mother Nature
Your power is far greater than us
Far greater than we understand
But we do understand you
How you work, and how you live
Maybe not your beginning
But we still mean to help
We mean no harm
And however many mistakes are made
Just know that I love you
My friends love you
My family loves you
We all love you
Mother Nature
Mother Nature

I am into math, but when I got this school assignment. I felt inspired to give it all I had.
