I didn’t think it would all turn out like this
That that would change my life
The event that must never be named…
All of the innocence of childhood gone in an instant
The sparkle left my eye and a deep cynicism was put into its place
But in the bright side I know that I should not
Cannot
Depend on people
But I am different
I have had my eyes opened
And I plan on being better than my peers
I will be the hope of our generation
I shall pass on the torch of kindness…
